After a Sesquicentennial Celebration (150 years) in 1969, Copley Heritage Day was first celebrated in 1976 in conjunction with The Bicentennial of the United States. Occurring nearly every year since, this township-wide event is held during the first weekend of August and celebrates the history, heritage, and sense of community that is Copley Township.
