About Us:

America’s Grape Country Wine Festival was first established in 2008 by William Merritt owner of Merritt Estate Winery. The festival was started to increase the public’s knowledge about the Concord grape wine industry of the Great Lake Erie. This area is the largest grape growing region east of the Rockies. Grape growers in Chautauqua County produce approximately 65% of New York State’s total annual grape harvest. This was a way to bring wineries, agricultural producers, specialty food vendors and local artisans together to celebrate this regions specialty in grape products and services. This two and half day festival takes place in the heart of the county at the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds located in Dunkirk, NY.

The two and half day festival showcases the best of NY Wines, Agricultural Producers, Breweries and Distilleries from across the state. The festival is about everything local and features that area’s finest craft artisans, and lifestyle companies. Our attendees learn about the various companies and products that are available in New York in a fun and entertaining environment with local music entertainment and a classic car show. It gives vendors the opportunity to outreach to audiences from the tri-state area from Pennsylvania and Ohio to mid-state New York and as far north as Ontario, Canada.
