Enjoy an afternoon of music and family fun at the free ParkFest Love and Music Day. presented by the Parks Foundation of Broward County and Rick Case Automotive Group. The main act will be the 100-member Florida Youth Orchestra (FYO) and special guest, Grammy-winning jazz flutist Nestor Torres, from 2:30-4PM, honoring the Broward Community Foundation's 40 Years of Service The Opening Act will be the Fuzz, the Plantation Police band, from 1-2:30PM. David Orson is the emcee. Other activities include food trucks, kids' activities, the FYO's Instrument Play Pen, and beer and wine concessions. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets so you can relax on the park’s lush green space to enjoy the concerts. No seating is provided. No outside food, beverages, or coolers are permitted as well, and please leave the pets at home. A limit of one backpack or purse will be in effect. Event capacity is limited. ParksFest is a rain-or-shine event.
