The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office invites community members to the annual Earth Day Celebration From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., join us for fun in the sun! Listen to live music, attend a free workshop, eat food from a local food truck, and discover dozens of sustainable-minded organizations and activities.  

Kick off the day by joining a community litter clean-up from 9 - 10 a.m. Other volunteers are needed throughout the day to help with event set up and take down, the waste green team, and at the bike valet.  

Live musical performances include Cameron Jameson, bands Side Project and Deviled Eggs, and flutist Aaron White.

Join one of the amazing FREE workshops:

11:15 a.m. – 'Bee' an Upcycler: Join Sharon's Attic and the City of Flagstaff Community Garden Program to create your own pollinator watering station and planter using provided upcycled household items and pollinator plant seeds.
12 p.m. – Rainwater Harvesting: Join City of Flagstaff Water Services to learn how to collect rainwater, conserve water, and maintain a lovely landscape or garden. Enter to win a free rain barrel!
1:15 p.m. – DIY Home Energy Efficiency: Learn everyday tips and tricks to conserve energy and hear from residents who have taken the journey to electrify their home heating and appliances. The first 5 households will receive a free DIY Energy Efficiency Kit!
This event aims to be accessible to all community members. American Sign Language (ASL) translators will be available to translate music lyrics, MC speeches, and all workshops. Wheelchair-accessible parking and ramps will be available.
