Canoegrass is a playing in the water, laughing with friends kind of bluegrass festival and campout. The banks of our private lake will come alive with the best entertainers in the region.

This isn’t your ordinary festival. It is a backyard party where you get wet, wild, stomp your feet and splash your friends all weekend long. The best seat in the house just may be from a canoe or tube!

Bring a friend, a cooler, camp and join our annual summertime reunion at Masters Outdoor Retreat. By the end of weekend, everyone will be yelling “Paddle Faster I Hear Bluegrass”!

This year we added more musicians to each day to get even more value out of your ticket price.

Tomfoolery

Life doesn’t have to be so serious, right? The answer is no! We are adding several new lakefront shenanigans this year in the spirit of our producer, Tomfoolery Outdoors. Canoegrassers will be shouting the mantra to Live Active, Laugh More, Inspire All.

Adventure

Yes, we have adventure! There is so much to do beyond camping and music at Canoegrass! Check out all the fun you can have during the weekend. Our festival site is about 40 minutes north of Dayton, Ohio The Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Midwest! Our region is a mecca for outdoor adventure.

Lake Zipline

Masters Outdoor Retreat features a zipline platform that will allow guests to get some air time before they cool off in the lake. This offers a very unique view of the action as you go flying over the two acre lake. The Zipline is open during scheduled hours and has an additional fee to maximize safety and enjoyment for all. Thursday 6:30 – 9 pm, Friday 11 am – 3 pm and Saturday 9:30 am – 1 pm

$10 per person per day (Friday or Saturday). $15 per person for both days. Fee includes Zipline and Blob

The Blob

This is no blob from a horror movie. It is an adventurous spirit’s dream. Climb to the top of the zipline tower then take a deep breath and jump onto a giant inflatable blob launching you and your friend in the lake. The Blob is open during scheduled hours and has an additional fee to maximize safety and enjoyment for all. Thursday 6:30 – 9 pm, Friday 11 am – 3 pm and Saturday 9:30 am – 1 pm

$10 per person per day (Friday or Saturday). $15 per person for both days. Fee includes Zipline and Blob

Canoe Jousting

That’s right medieval jousting meets canoeing! Hop in a canoe and battle the opposition in a friendly match to see who can be the last one standing. Competitors will be required to wear a life jacket. We like things a little crazy so wear costumes to distract your competition and give those on the bank a good laugh! Register Saturday by 145 at the rope swing ramp. Friendly matches are scheduled on a first-come first served basis.

Biking

Canoegrass offers convenient access to over 350 miles of paved trail to explore. This is the largest connected bikeway network in the country. Check out the trail network at www.miamivalleytrails.org In addition, we offer $20 off your ticket at the gate for those who bike camp at Canoegrass! You must carry your camping gear on your bike to get cash back at gate.

Fishing

We are on a lake and there are hungry fish that live there! Pack a rod and try to land the big one from camp. No Fishing License required.

6:45 pm – NEW Canoegrasser Tug of War

We will peer pressure you to participate in a good old fashioned school yard game, tug of war. Who will be the strongest Canoegrasser team? Meet at the volleyball court and lets see who it will be. Our goal is to get every person on the property to play. The winning team will get first access to happy hour and special Tomfoolery surprises.
