All Day: River City Tintype - Tintype Portraits

Book your session in advance (not required) at https://bookrivercitytintype.as.me/art

Don’t miss your chance to have your portrait made with this unique process! Tintype portraits are created using wet plate collodion photography, which was a primary documentation tool during the US Civil War before it became a celebrated trade by itinerant photographers through the early 1900s. It involves coating a metal or glass plate with light-sensitive chemistry to create an image. Book your portrait session early or stop by the River City Tintype booth the day of the festival.
